The Beginning
and The End

Price : £3,950

Medium:  multi-layer textural (non resin) original diptych mixed media on an aluminium museum grade art panel

Size : 100cm x 80cm per painting

Diptych Size approx: 100cm x 170cm- 200cm wide (dependent of preferred space between)

An exploration of internal grief, processed through cosmic inspiration, channeling the beginning (the left piece) with a red moon in the forefront, and the end (the right piece) with the red seeping into the background. Through this work, you’ll find cloud details, waterfall and cave like details, and this is also one of Katie’s first explorations with moons in her textural work. You’ll find moons throughout the entire diptych, signifying the spiritual and emotional attachment we have looking up at the moon, and the connection to our cyclical lives and relationships.

blame the moon (sold)

£3,495

Medium:  multi-layer textural (non resin) original mixed media on an aluminium museum grade art panel

Size: 120 cm x 100 cm

This piece is named 'Blame The Moon' to signify the effect the moon can have on our lives and the link the moon phases have to our own cycles.

Moon phases connect with hormonal phases. Sometimes we're glowing and whole, sometimes we're hiding, sometimes we're growing to become whole again, sometimes we're shrinking away to rest. Not one day is the same as before. And we work through it each time.

Women's connection to the moon is ancient and sacred. So this is an unraveling of that concept in abstract form. Some moons are small, some are large, and some are hidden.

THE CHOICES WE MAKE

£2,600

Medium:  multi layer original resin and mixed media on an aluminium museum grade art panel

Size: 130 cm x 60 cm

To represent the choices we make through life that affect the relationships and friendships we have, Katie created pathways across this piece using gold, hand painted white and iridescent dots and resin detailed lines. All of these paths were intentionally created, some ending suddenly, some stopping and starting, some fading and some continuing across the entire piece. The piece is entirely green to symbolise life and calmness, to remain calm despite the choices we make and to trust in lifes path, bringing the deeper concept together with the colour.

WHEN YOU ARE LOST IN THE DARKNESS, LOOK FOR THE LIGHT
(SOLD)

£2,350

Medium:  multi-layer original resin and mixed media on an aluminium museum grade art panel

Size: 120cm x 60cm

This piece is the perfect example of Katies signature mixed media and resin style. The creation process for this piece began in the middle of 2023. Katie continually added more and more colour to the piece during 2023 and early 2024, as a reflection of personal evolution through that time and a reminder to look for the light in the darkness during life's difficult moments.

heather moors (sold)

£1,650

Medium:  multi-layer original resin and mixed media on wooden museum grade art panel (circular)

Size: 86 cm

To honor her first exclusive collection with Robertson fine art, Katie wanted to interpret Scottish landscapes in her organic abstract style, this piece is inspired by the memories of walks through Heather fields, using vibrant purples, greens and silvers to evoke the feeling of the sun against the Heather during her time in Scotland. This piece also uses glowing pigments which are activated by light and will be most noticeable once the lights turn off and your eyes have adjusted.

CELIA

£1,595

Medium:  multi-layer original resin and mixed media on an aluminium museum grade art panel

Size: 100 cm x 50 cm

A piece using the calming colour psychology of blue and violet, Katie created this piece to explore her fascination between organic natural structures and details with natures positive effects on the mind.

BLUE MOON (SOLD)

£1,950

Medium: textured matte (non resin) mixed media original on aluminium cradled museum grade art panel (circular)

Size: 100cm

An abstract interpretive piece inspired by the moon meeting the ocean, a tale of invisible pulls, in this piece Katie evolves her signature style by exploring layering through texture instead of resin.

WE RISE THROUGH FALLS

£1,600

Medium: textured matte mixed media original on aluminium cradled museum grade art panel (circular)

Size: 90 cm

A dreamy 90cm abstract fantasy-scape, combining Katies recent experiments with her love for fantasy and escapism. Accentuating the rocky natural textures created in the abstract phase, adding cliff edges with waterfalls. The concept behind this piece is rising through the falls, both mentally rising through the falls in life and seeing the light in the world despite the lows, and literally, as the light area of the piece opens up and flourishes as it rises.
