In 2023, Katie Alize was commissioned by Kevin Barry Art Advisory to create three bespoke double-sided artworks for Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

Originally commissioned for the property's spa, the three works were created specifically for the space and later relocated to the hotel's bar area, where they remain on display.

Each artwork combines hand-painted layers of brown, metallic gold, beige and ivory, with gold ink highlighting the compositions. The works were then encapsulated in resin, creating a deep, high-gloss surface that enhances the movement, luminosity and layered quality of the paintings. As light moves across the metallic pigments and resin surfaces, different colours, textures and layers are revealed.

The palette was selected to complement the sophisticated interior of Fontainebleau Las Vegas, balancing warm neutral tones with luminous metallic accents. The resulting collection brings together organic depth and light in a series of statement artworks created specifically in celebration of the newly opened Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
