Blame The Moon | 120x100cm

£3,495.00
SOLD

Multi-layer textural non-resin original mixed media on an aluminium museum grade art panel.

Size : 120x100 cm

This piece is named 'Blame The Moon' to signify the effect the moon can have on our lives and the link the moon phases have to our own cycles.

Moon phases connect with hormonal phases. Sometimes we're glowing and whole, sometimes we're hiding, sometimes we're growing to become whole again, sometimes we're shrinking away to rest. Not one day is the same as before. And we work through it each time.

Women's connection to the moon is ancient and sacred. So this is an unravelling of that concept in abstract form. Some moons are small, some are large, and some are hidden.

Please note, ‘Blame The Moon’ is currently being exhibited with Robertson Fine Art in Edinburgh, so if you have discovered me specifically through the gallery, please enquire with them here - Blame The Moon - Robertson Fine Art
