Heather Moors | 86cm
Original resin and mixed media on wooden museum grade art panel (circular)
Size: 86 cm
To honor her first exclusive collection with Robertson fine art, Katie wanted to interpret Scottish landscapes in her organic abstract style, this piece is inspired by the memories of walks through Heather fields, using vibrant purples, greens and silvers to evoke the feeling of the sun against the Heather during her time in Scotland. This piece also uses glowing pigments which are activated by light and will be most noticeable once the lights turn off and your eyes have adjusted.
Please note, ‘Heather Moors’ is currently being exhibited with Robertson Fine Art in Edinburgh, so if you have discovered me specifically through the gallery, please enquire with them here - Heather Moors | Robertson Fine Art

Each piece gets top coated with clear UV protective resin after ordering, this gives the piece a luxurious professional shiny finish. This process is done after purchase to ensure the best finish ready for it's new home. If you have a special preference for the edge colours to better match your home, you can email hello@katiealizeart.com and Katie can paint them a custom colour for you instead.
