About Katie
Katie Alize, 29, is an experienced abstract artist based in Essex, UK, known for her organic abstract interpretations of nature and the human experience. Specialising in resin and mixed media, she uses up to 20 different art mediums that she has taught herself in pursuit of her signature style of work. Katie began experimenting with resin in 2016, her ambition and drive has led her to develop and evolve her work into the refined and organic style you see today. She has sold 600 original artworks all over the world, and has had the pleasure of working with world renowned brands and venues such as Elemis, Fairmont Hotels, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, Kevin Barry Art Advisory and Jacksons Art.
Katies explores themes of colour psychology, mental health, personal evolution, body image and relationships, fusing these themes with her interest in how patterns found in nature have a mood lifting and healing effect on the mind.
‘I want viewers to fully explore each piece, as if they are exploring a place they have never been. Taking in every detail, colour and texture, while evoking conversations from the concepts behind each piece.’

In Spring-Summer 2022, Katie worked on 11 commissioned artworks for the prestigious Fairmont Banff Springs hotel in Canada.

With the work of the gallery, Katie has been involved in some of the UK’s largest art fairs; Cheltenham Fresh Art Fair, Edinburgh Art Fair and the esteemed Affordable Art Fair in Battersea. As well as being involved in various exhibitions at the gallery itself.
‘This is a new avenue for me to explore, since I was 8 years old I imagined my work being hung in a gallery window, I have spent so many years developing and refining my work to ready myself to take the leap into gallery representation, and Robertson Fine Art has exceeded all expectations. There are so many exciting ideas I’m ready to explore and I can’t wait to evolve even more.’

ELEMIS
In February 2021, Katie was involved in curating and teaching a live online art class for the launch of a new product by the worldwide skin care brand Elemis partnering with QVC UK, the class alone had a combined social media reach of over 2 million followers with the influencers involved in the event.
