This piece is a multiple layered, original mixed media work on a round canvas.
This artwork gets treated to a glassy resin top coat once it finds a home, giving the piece a high quality, high shine finish.
The edges will be painted black after the top coating process, to match the darkness of the artwork.

What Happens After You Purchase An Artwork :
Resin Top Coats:
Once an artwork finds a home, Katie gives the artwork a top coat of clear resin, a shiny medium which cures (hardens) with a beautifully shiny finish similar to glass.
Resin top coats are applied after a piece is purchased so that the piece receives the best finish just before being sent to its new home.

Please note Katie occasionally paints acrylic paintings on canvas, these will not be top coated and this will be stated in the description.
The Edges:
The edges of an artwork are handpainted after the top coat process, the colour that the edges will be painted will be in the description.
If you have a colour preference for the edges, you can email hello@katiealizeart.com instead and she will be able to accommodate your requests for the artwork to match your home.

Hanging:
Each piece comes ready to hang, with the surface type written into the description of the piece above.
Certificates of Authenticity:
