When can I expect my order to arrive?

Do you deliver to my country?

Yes! I offer worldwide shipping and have sent over 500 artworks across the world since I started her artist career in 2017, so you can trust that your artwork will arrive safely no matter where you are in the world.

The shipping cost for your country will be shown after you select your country at checkout.

I am based in the UK so UK delivery is free.

How do I hang my order?

Each piece comes ready to hang, with the art panel type written into the description of the artwork, all art panels are cradled, meaning they have an inset area on the back that makes putting artwork onto a wall very easy, you just need a secure screw in the wall.

Do you do custom orders?

If you would like a piece of art created specially for your home, in your choices of sizes, shapes, colours, click here or email hello@katiealizeart.com with your request.

What happens when I order an original artwork?

Each piece gets top coated with clear UV protective resin after ordering, this gives the piece a luxurious professional shiny finish. This process is done after purchase to ensure the best finish ready for it's new home. If you have a special preference for the edge colours to better match your home, you can email hello@katiealizeart.com and I can paint them a custom colour for you instead.

What is a resin top coat?

A resin top coat is when epoxy resin is used to finish an artwork for a shiny finish.

How do textured pieces look with a resin top coat?

Highly textured pieces may require two top coats to get a smoother finish, small areas of the highest textures may still be visible in the resin top coat and will still look beautiful with the shine.

Can I see a video of the piece I am interested in?

Yes! I am happy to send a video of a piece to you to help you to envision it in your home, keeping in mind the sides get painted and top coating is done after a piece finds a home.

I live in Europe, what happens with the customs charges?

Now that the UK has left the EU, goods traveling between the EU and the UK , and vice versa, will be subject to customs fees issued by the courier companies, these are new fees that have been introduced. My courier provider allows me to pre-pay for these fees prior to sending (as of September 2021) so that the artwork can be received smoothly without complication. As all countries have different guidelines, some countries may charge extra, if this is the case, please contact me and I will refund the amount paid for any additional funds charged at customs as long as proof is provided.

Checkout and payment methods / fixing any checkout issues :

I used a website builder called Squarespace, one of the main website builders with a highly secure checkout process.

You can pay with your bank card like a normal online payment, please note Squarespace is a USA based company, so at checkout it will say 'credit card', please be assured debit cards work perfectly fine here as well. You can also use Paypal and Clearpay/Afterpay.

If you have any issues with checkout, please try opening the website in a new browser, sometimes when following links through Instagram or Pinterest etc, the browser opens itself within that app instead of a separate browser, so in some cases you will need to reopen the website in a new browser to troubleshoot any checkout issues.

When using Afterpay/Clearpay, please open in a new browser or use a laptop/computer.

You will never be charged if a payment hasn't processed fully, please reach out to me at hello@katiealizeart.com if you need any assistance with checkout.

Returns and refunds

If you change your mind about your order in the first 24 hours after making a purchase, you can contact me hello@katiealizeart.com to cancel your order. This is only offered within the first 24 hours if a buyer changes their mind, this is because pieces are top coated and fully finished to order and extra work is put into the artwork after a piece is purchased to get the artwork ready for it’s new home. I urge all buyers to fully read the sizes and surface types of the artwork they are interested in prior to purchase.

Under normal circumstances, I do not accept returns or exchanges for original artwork, but if you have any questions or issues, you can always get in contact directly at hello@katiealizeart.com

If a returns/refunds is agreed, refunds will be processed once a returning artwork is received. All artwork is packaged incredibly safely to ensure safe transit. Also please ensure you read all sizes, surfaces and hanging styles for an artwork prior to purchase to make sure it is the correct fit for your home, if you are unsure about colour matching, feel free to ask for a video of the artwork before purchase, I also take commissions if you would like something made to order instead, to match colours in your home and your desired size.

Custom orders are non-refundable, once payment is received securely through my website, I begin ordering supplies, prepping boards/canvases, readying my work space, colour matching and out sourcing specific colours requested for your custom request. All details of commissions are spoken and agreed prior to purchase and I will update you on your custom piece throughout the creation process.

Why do prices vary between similar sizes?

Prices vary when pieces are created on different surfaces, there are a mixture of surfaces currently used, from canvas to wooden panels to musuem grade aluminium cradled panels. Other factors include the year of creation, how many layers a piece has or additional layers required for a top coat, prices of other mediums that have been used.

I offer e-books which teach you about my favourite art mediums and how to use them, please note I do not aim to teach my full style, originality is the most important asset of being a self made artist, but I love to share my knowledge about the art mediums I love. Click here to view the e-books.
